When former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle left the network in 2018, some of her fans were perhaps concerned that they wouldn’t see much of her anymore.

Those folks can rest assured that Guilfoyle’s visibility will increase greatly over the next year and a half, however, as she has accepted a senior position with President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.

Guilfoyle joins Trump 2020 campaign

Guilfoyle’s name was among several others announced as new additions to the campaign in a public statement on Monday.

“President Trump has a clear record of accomplishments and promises kept as he continues to Make America Great Again,” said Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale.

“These exceptional additions to the re-election effort will help us take our case to the voters and ensure victory,” he added.

Left Fox to join pro-Trump PAC

Guilfoyle, a former model turned prosecutor in California, rose to national prominence when she began her career at Fox News in 2006, eventually landing a role as a co-host of the popular program The Five in 2011.

Guilfoyle left Fox News in the summer of 2018, however, after it was revealed that she was romantically involved with the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., following his split with wife Vanessa.

After departing Fox, Guilfoyle assumed a top role at a pro-Trump super PAC known as America First Action, where she advocated for the president and his administration’s policies.

Praised for tireless advocacy

“We are thrilled Vice Chairwoman Kimberly Guilfoyle is joining the Trump Campaign in a Senior Adviser role,” the America First Action PAC said in a statement on Monday.

“Ms. Guilfoyle was an incredible asset at America First Action, Donald J. Trump’s official super PAC. While it’s a loss for us, it’s a gain for the campaign,” the PAC continued.

“Ms. Guilfoyle has been a tireless advocate for the president, an unflinching champion for his policies, and an impassioned spokeswoman for the cause,” the statement added.

It remains unclear at this point what exactly Guilfoyle will do as part of the Trump 2020 campaign, but given her telegenic appearance, attitude and openness when it comes to engaging with Americans on behalf of the president, odds are we will be seeing her often at campaign events and on TV in the run-up to the election.
