White House shakeup: new chief of staff and press secretary

Make sure to let us know what you think... we now have comments turned ON below the article!

Four-term Republican congressman Mark Meadows of North Carolina just resigned from Congress to become President Trump’s Chief of Staff.

He replaced Mick Mulvaney who is known mostly for saying back in August 2019 that the president deals in “quid pro quos” all the time, giving Democrats, bent on impeaching the president, more ammunition in their cause to take the president out.

Meadows distinguished himself during the House impeachment “inquiry” by aggressively attacking the whole process and pointing out the unfairness and illegitimacy of the “inquiry.” He, along with Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Elise Stefanik, Louie Gohmert, and other Republicans defended the president from the unfounded charges brought by the House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff and the House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler.

Meadows appoints Kayleigh McEnany as White House Press Secretary

Meadows has hit the ground running, replacing the White House press secretary and long-time Trump family friend Stephanie Grisham with Kayleigh McEnany. Grisham never held a single press conference in her eight-month tenure, though she did grant interviews to various news shows.

McEnany is 31, married to a major league baseball player, and is a new mother. She was already working as press secretary for the president’s 2020 campaign before her new appointment to the White House.

She went to the right schools, making it harder for the Democrats to label her an ignorant, Bible-thumping redneck. According to NPR:

Kayleigh McEnany, just days shy of her 32nd birthday, already has acquired a bevy of classic establishment credentials. She holds degrees from Georgetown University’s foreign service school and Harvard Law. She studied at Oxford.

But they have labeled her anti-LGBTQ.

McEnany transphobic and homophobic according to GLAAD

She has been accused of being transphobic and homophobic. The GLAAD organization provides the “evidence” here of her transphobia and homophobia which is then cited by news organizations as proof.

Her anti-LGBTQ sins include appearing on the same Family Research Council radio program as Ken Williams, founder of Equipped to Love, a group for former homosexuals. The Family Research Council has been designated a “hate” group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. She has even said negative things about transgenders and bathrooms, saying that transgender females (biological males) pose a danger to women and girls and should not be allowed to use women’s bathrooms.

The mainstream media has also called her a liar.

McEnany is a “liar” according to “fake news”

McEnany is outspoken and controversial. She has made remarks that she later had to correct. She once accused President Obama of going golfing after receiving the news that journalist Daniel Pearl had been beheaded by terrorists. Pearl was killed in 2002 when Obama was a senator.

She corrected herself, saying that she meant James Foley, who was killed in 2014 while Obama was president. Obama did speak about Foley’s death and then went golfing. Naturally, the “fake news” called her a liar and will forever, but the point was that Obama did go golfing after hearing the news about an American journalist being murdered by terrorists. He later admitted that golfing after hearing the news “may have been a mistake.”

McEnany vs. CNN

McEnany is combative and willing to take on “journalists” like CNN’s Jim Acosta and other obnoxious reporters, just as the president himself does in his daily press briefings. (Is anyone tired of their obnoxious “gotcha” questions?)

Here is McEnany, as the Trump 2020 Campaign Press Secretary taking on CNN’s Chris Cuomo. Cuomo asked McEnany if she would support the president if he said, “The reason I am saying these things is because I am a racist.” McEnany refused to label the president a hypothetical racist and took down Cuomo.

McEnany’s bona fides

McEnancy has a firm grasp on what the Democrats are willing to do to destroy President Trump and she is willing to say it.

In a recent interview about the coronavirus, McEnany pointed out that the Democrats are happy when America is suffering, saying “What is bad for America is good for Democrats.” She pointed out that Democrats are hoping the virus will be bad because they “have a demented dream to take down President Trump and it doesn’t matter how many Americans they destroy in order to get there.”

This should be interesting.
