Massage tables and nude photos of “young women” can be seen in video footage from a 2005 police raid of Jeffrey Epstein’s Florida home, Fox News reported.
Nude photos
Photos and artwork depicting nude and partially-nude photos of women and girls featured prominently in the decor of the financier’s Palm Beach mansion. Some of the photos and paintings were described as “artsy,” others not so much.
Ghislaine Maxwell, said to be Epstein’s close associate who also allegedly served as his madame and helped recruit young girls, reportedly appeared in some of the photos.
Interestingly, Fox reported that other photos appeared to show Epstein standing behind the podium in the press briefing room of the White House.
Massage tables
In the video, a green massage table can be seen folded up against a wall that featured framed photos of Epstein himself. Watch below:
Many of Epstein’s alleged victims who’ve since come forward have said that they were often instructed to provide massages to Epstein and his friends.
“Massage” was code for “sex,” alleged Virginia Giuffre, who said Epstein compelled her into being a “sex slave” when she was a teenager, the New York Times reported.
The 2005 raid was linked to the investigation into Epstein’s alleged wrongdoing that ultimately led to a secretive plea-deal arrangement in 2008. Epstein pleaded guilty to minor state charges and served only 13 months in a low-security facility while part of a work-release program.
Similar items were found during the raid of Epstein’s New York mansion in July, the Daily Beast reported. Police found “an extraordinary volume of photographs of nude and partially-nude young women or girls,” per a court filing. A massage table, sex toys, and “notes and messages that allegedly back up” the new federal sex trafficking charges against him were also found in the home.
Epstein was arrested in July, but died in his prison cell on August 10. While the criminal case against him has been dismissed, law enforcement will continue to go after any co-conspirators, Fox News reported. Epstein’s massive estate will also likely be a target for civil suits from his accusers.
Victims speak out
23 women spoke or had their testimony read in court on Tuesday, accusing Epstein of sexually exploiting or abusing them. Many expressed frustration with Epstein’s escape from justice.
“I, along with other people, will never have an answer as to why. I will never have an apology for the wrongdoing. And most importantly, Epstein will not be justly sentenced for his crimes,” one unidentified accuser told the court.
