Rapper accuses Tomi Lahren of feeling ‘threatened’ by ‘power of black women’

Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren carved out a niche for herself during the Obama years as a fiery young conservative pundit, and she has largely stuck with that formula in the years since former President Barack and first lady Michelle Obama left office.

But her sharp criticism of the Obamas has predictably led to accusations of racism on her part by some on the race-baiting left. Lahren’s most recent criticism of the former first lady just prompted a baseless charge that Lahren speaks out because she actually feels “threatened by the power of black women.”

Petty much?

In her just-released memoir, “Becoming,” Michelle Obama noted that she had reached out to current first lady Melania Trump with an offer of advice for the transition into the White House. ABC’s Robin Roberts followed up in an interview Sunday and asked, “Has (Trump) reached out?”

“No,” Obama replied. “No, she hasn’t.”

Melania Trump’s spokeswoman responded with a statement on Monday:

Mrs. Trump is a strong and independent woman who has been navigating her role as First Lady in her own way. When she needs advice on any issue, she seeks it from her professional team within the White House.

Lahren chimed in on Twitter, writing, “Michelle Obama is upset Melania never asked for advice on how to be First Lady. Michelle, besides ruining school lunches what did you do?”

“race card”

Lahren’s tweet caught the attention of rapper Wale, who reportedly has tangled with Lahren before. He tweeted in reply, “Just say you threatened by the power of black women and go Tammy.. you and your zany hijinks won’t prosper today.”

Lahren fired back, “Oh stop with the race card. It’s tired.”

Not to be outdone, Wale butchered Lahren’s name and later tweeted, “Tammy lauran is a real life Scooby Doo villain .Stay Woke” He also suggested in a tweet that the “race” in “race card” was “rigged” and Lahren was the “rigger.”

But Lahren would have the last word, as she replied, “Do you always tweet like a weird fortune cookie? Or just when you’re high?”

Tomi Lahren has shown herself to be fearless in taking on powerful liberals, so the suggestion that she feels “threatened” by black women is pretty well off-base.

Regardless, this example shows that no matter what some on the right say, some on the left will automatically inject racial animus into the conversation, proving they have nothing left to play except the race card.
