In a Bible belt state like Mississippi, it is hard to imagine a church being burned down to the ground, but in the small town of Holly Springs, a religious bigot did just that.
The identity of the bigot is not known as of this writing, but he/she made his/her views plain in graffiti sprayed on the parking lot.

The message was embellished with an Atomic Whirl, a symbol used by the American Athiest Association to represent international Atheism according to their website.
Hypokrit is the German spelling of English term hypocrite. The spelling may or may not be important, but whoever burned the First Pentecostal Church to the ground hates churches and the people that attend them, especially churches that stand for their first amendment rights.
First Pentecostal Church of Holly Springs, MS was fighting for the right to assemble during the coronavirus lockdowns. They filed a lawsuit against Holly Springs after the police disrupted their in-person Easter service and cited them for not social-distancing. There were about 40 people in the church at the time.
The pastor of First Pentecostal Church, Jerry Waldrop, protested the city’s policy of forbidding church services while allowing people to go to Walmart and other stores. A federal judge agreed that the prohibition was unfairly enforced and that law enforcement had violated the church’s first amendment rights. The church would be allowed to have drive-in services. First Pentecostal was in the process of petitioning for in-person services when the arsonist struck.

Mississippi governor Tate Reeves, newly inaugurated in January 2020, lamented the coronavirus lockdown and what it is doing to the American people in a tweet:
I am heartbroken and furious. In Mississippi, a church was just burned to the ground. They had been trying to open services. There was graffiti on the lot which read “Bet you stay home now you hypocrites.”

Governor Reeves may be approached by the Freedom From Religion Foundation for saying “prayer” as an official. Follow this link to see what type of work they do to remove any remnant of faith or religion from the public square. Many people of faith suspect that the unequal application of lockdown orders has something to do with FFRF and are organizing against the attacks by atheists on their right to practice their religion freely and without government constraint. The American Center for Law and Justice or ACLJ organized a petition and site for the effort, calling it “Stop the Atheist Attacks on Faith and Prayer During the Coronavirus Pandemic.”

There is one question I will ask an Atheist. If you don’t have any beliefs in a higher power, and you say God does not exist, than what are you afraid of? What is so threatening about something that does not exist? Or is it because you do know there is a higher power, but you don’t like the rules of morality that God instills in all of us and afraid that you will not wind up in heaven because of your worldly wants and sins that you refuse to give up? Just because you denounce god, does not make him go away. He believes in you whether you believe in him or not. Do you not see how evil men are treating Christians? Have you ever witness any Christian burning down your false atheist organizations? Read the ten Commandments over several times and get an idea of why they existed for thousands of years. If everyone followed those ten Commandments, every problem in life would be gone. Paradise is only Ten reasons away from your reward. Even if as you say God doesn’t exist, those ten Commandments could still bring Paradise to earth, but since there are not many religions who follow every Commandment that was handed down to humans, Paradise will fade until this earth is purged once more. These are the final days to repent and sin no more, but the way we have given our beliefs to evil men in governments and do what those evil men tell us to do because they can’t give up the evil in their hearts for moral restrictions.

These evil hate-monger’s have destroyed a building, BUT they HAVE NOT destroyed THE CHURCH which is made up of believer’s. It must be a HORRIBLE thing to be under Satan’s control AND be filled with that much hate AND fear. AND it is fear because Satan & his follower’s know they have only a short time here. I can guarantee you that the wonderful members of this church will be so much stronger in their faith than before. I’m going to read what you said to my 24 year old grandson that was hit by a car on his motorcycle. His body is broken all over but miraculously not his head. I feel God has a plan for him. It is times like this where we all need to pray for, not only our fellow Christians who lost their church, but for the poor soul who burned it down that they might find Jesus Christ before it is too late. We need to turn to God for solutions and let Him deal out His own punishment be it by finding and having them arrested and sent to jail or what ever He deems is right. Do not allow anger and bitterness to eat at your soul for the hatred displayed by this action. Praise God that no one was harmed because a building can be built again but a lost live can never be brought back.
I’ve always noticed that only the things connected with Jesus Christ are damaged or destroyed, Jewish Synagogues that are looking for the first appearing and gospel churches that are looking for the second appearing. He resides in the Christian which is His permanent dwelling place, Matthew 28:20 KJV 20 (in part) “…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” When He’s “taken out of the way”, His dwelling place must leave with Him as we’re “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV 17 “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” No one knows that day or hour, he’ll come as a thief, but “Satanic panic” is taking place, indicating that it is probably very close.

I have no idea what kind of low life scum would burn down a house of God….I do know that is one very very sick individual, who is too stupid to know that he or she needs serious, long term psychological help….probably an entire team of doctors, who can then write papers after studying such a perverted and deeply disturbed individual. I consider myself to be an atheist but I also believe in letting people free and choose whatever route they want to take in life. These combative atheists don’t get it – they are behaving exactly the same as religious fanatics so in effect they are turning their form of atheism into a religion.
