Recently, Dr. Fauci commented on the idea of “herd immunity” in a press conference, saying he hoped that not enough people would be infected to develop herd immunity.
That sounds sympathetic, but is he really adhering to the science of SARS outbreaks when he says that? Professor Knut Wittkowski provides an alternative view of the coronavirus pandemic from a scientific perspective.

Wittkowski, an epidemiologist, with a specialty in biometric statistics, points out in the interview that this is not the first SARS virus nor will it be the last. Because there have been SARS outbreaks in the past, epidemiologists can predict from past data and patterns how a virus behaves and how it can be eradicated. He advocates, based on the data from previous SARS virus outbreaks, that herd immunity is the only way to stop a virus.
Unfortunately, we are doing the exact opposite of that.
Addressing “social distancing,” Wittkowski predicted that “we will see more death because of this social distancing…”
The gist of Professor Wittkowski’s message is:
With all respiratory diseases, the only thing that stops the disease is herd immunity. About 80% of the people need to have had contact with the virus, and the majority of them won’t even have recognized that they were infected, or they had very, very mild symptoms, especially if they are children. So, it’s very important to keep the schools open and kids mingling to spread the virus to get herd immunity as fast as possible, and then the elderly people, who should be separated, and the nursing homes should be closed during that time, can come back and meet their children and grandchildren after about 4 weeks when the virus has been exterminated….
Wittkowski also said, “Respiratory diseases, including the 2003 SARS epidemic, remain only about two months in any given population, although peak incidence and lethality can vary.” But governors and people like Dr. Fauci are talking about many months, not two.
According to Wittkowsi: “If the government hadn’t interfered, the epidemic would be over.”

Dr. Fauci is one of the old life timers on DC who have profited under more than one administration and NOT to be trusted to even know the truth, in my 75-year old opinion which has education credentials & a lifetime of work and belief in a higher power for all that I have attained to live a simple, full life. Even during polio during the 1940s & 1950s, the country was not closed as it is today.
He is not a politician, but a Doctorr, a Scientist who has worked hard to save lives. He has worked with both Rep. and Dem., since President Reagan according to his bio, I just read.
I don’t believe he has intentions to hurt and harm lives while he is near the gate of death to very soon bye, bye to this world then he all of the sudden stand before the Throne of his Creator to be judged.
If he’s forced by the dark entities to play Anti-Americans card vs. us, we can demand that all Democrats must be vaccinated.

Someone here has another motive by wanting to “herd immunity”. I know this virus didn’t get under control in many hot spots until social distance was put into place. This is a different virus we are dealing with like none ever before. It can’t be handled like it is not a killer. We don’t even know who will suffering other health issues after getting Coronavirus the rest of their lives. Isolation is the best health guide line for now. Thank you, Dr. Fauci, I trust your educated mind fully and human concerns even today.

People don’t get infected unless they come in contact with the source of the illness. Carona virus-like all of the past viruses need a place to start from. If you don’t know the initial starting location, we will not be able to stop a new virus from occurring. It seems to me that little effort has been taken to understand what started the epidemic. The investigation to find the source of the virus deserves more attention than it is getting. It is clear that the source can regenerate more diseases and more health crises.
