Hillary Clinton jokingly calls on China to hack IRS for Trump’s tax returns

Make sure to let us know what you think... we now have comments turned ON below the article!

Democrats were outraged in July 2016 when then-candidate Donald Trump jokingly called for Russia to find and share some 33,000 deleted emails from former secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized private server. But now that Clinton herself has committed the act that some in the media once called “treason,” Dems are curiously silent.

In an interview with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, Clinton, apparently jokingly, called for China to hack the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to find and release President Trump’s tax returns.

“Why should Russia have all the fun?” Clinton asked.

Chinese interference

In her interview with Maddow, Clinton laid out a scenario in which a hypothetical Democratic candidate for 2020 was on the MSNBC star’s program.

“Imagine, Rachel, that you had one of the Democratic nominees for 2020 on your show and that person said, ‘You know, the only other adversary of ours who is anywhere near as good as the Russians is China,'” Clinton suggested.

Mimicking a hypothetical Democratic nominee, Clinton went on: “So why should Russia have all the fun? And since Russia is clearly backing the Republicans, why don’t we ask China to back us?

“And not only that,” Clinton added, again speaking as the hypothetical candidate, “China, if you’re listening, why don’t you get Trump’s tax returns? I’m sure our media would richly reward you.”

The former first lady finished her talk by slamming Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his disappointing-to-Dems report.

“Now, according to the Mueller report, that is not a conspiracy because it’s done right out in the open,” Clinton said of her China hypothetical.

Indeed, Clinton noted that there would be “nothing wrong with that” if China were to make hacking attempts on the IRS to steal and subsequently disclose Trump’s tax returns to the public.

Take a look at Clinton and Maddow’s conversation:

Hypothetical cut short

Clinton’s audacious remarks were a clear tongue-in-cheek attempt at humor — but they both missed the mark and the point.

Suppose that following those overtly sarcastic remarks from the hypothetical candidate that the media and Republicans began to howl about foreign interference and “collusion” with China, and the Trump administration secretly opened up an investigation and began to spy on that hypothetical candidate’s campaign — because that’s what happened in the real-life version of Clinton’s hypothetical.

But Clinton and the Democrats don’t really want to talk about what happened after Trump made his joke about Russia and Clinton’s emails — which, again, the left took as treasonously serious when it so obviously wasn’t.

If the left had any sort of standards, Clinton would be chastised for her foolish remarks that could be misinterpreted and lead to illegal foreign interference.

But it’s obvious the Democratic Party is made up of little more than a collection of two-faced hypocrites — so Clinton will get a pass while they still rage impotently over the exact same joke from Trump nearly three years ago.
