Brett Kavanaugh spotted serving meals to the less fortunate in Washington

Make sure to let us know what you think... we now have comments turned ON below the article!

President Donald Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court on Monday evening — and the political left immediately launched an all-out assault on the nominee’s character.

While Democrats have protested Kavanaugh’s nomination, the liberal media has sought to smear him by questioning his religious beliefs, his financial status and spending habits, and even the impression some received simply by his common name. But his recent actions show he’s not quite not as bad as liberals make him seem.

Not what it seems

The narrative put forward by the liberal media makes Kavanaugh out to be something of an elitist that is aloof to the problems of the average citizen, and would have no qualms about ripping Americans’ rights away from them by virtue of his Supreme Court vote.

Of course, the media’s manufactured impression of Kavanaugh doesn’t quite match the perception most Americans gained after checking out the nominee for themselves.

In fact, after spending nearly two full days on Capitol Hill meeting with senior senators who would soon vote to confirm or deny his nomination, Kavanaugh was spotted meeting with a vastly different set of people on Wednesday evening.

Far from being an aloof elitist without a care in the world for the less fortunate, Kavanaugh was spotted serving free meals to the hungry and poor of the capital city.

That’s right — less than 48 hours after being vaulted to the nation’s forefront, and in the midst of an attempted character assassination by the leftist media, Kavanaugh spent his time helping to feed the needy in Washington, D.C.

Valiant volunteer

As it turns out, Kavanaugh is a regular volunteer with the St. Maria’s Meals program, which shows him to be a true “man for others.”

One of the other volunteers helping to feed the poor Wednesday evening confirmed to The Daily Caller that Kavanaugh did indeed take part in the charitable event.

It was also revealed that Kavanaugh had signed up to help serve the poor on that particular date some time ago and has stuck with his commitment, regardless of the sudden change in his personal and professional circumstances that would have justified a decision to withdraw that commitment.

The fact that Judge Kavanaugh decided to proceed with serving meals to the poor despite all of the other unexpected activity that has transpired over the past couple of days shows just what kind of servant-spirit this man truly possesses.

He could easily have begged off of his commitment to serve the poor that evening, given all of his other new commitments, and nobody — other than spiteful leftists — would have thought less of him. But he chose to continuing serving the less fortunate of the community anyways, which proves he is a good man at heart.
